Score 94/100 · Drink 2025-2035, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2025

The 2022 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru is the best balanced wine in the range, even if it also possesses the most body and texture. Offering up aromas of honeyed orchard fruit, white flowers, toasted nuts and drawn butter, it's full-bodied, layered and satiny, with a seamless, textural profile underpinned by lively acids.

The 2023 Bienvenue-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has a linear, focused nose. It's perhaps a little conservative in style, with hints of orange blossom and a little nutmeg unfolding in the glass. The palate is fresh on the entry, with a keen line of acidity and a welcome touch of sour lemon imparting tension toward the finish. It flows nicely and should drink well for ten to twenty years.
