The 2013 Brut Nature Les Chênes (Chardonnay) bristles with energy. In 2013, the fruit came in a bit riper than normal, as was the case throughout Champagne. Translucent and expressive, the 2013 offers tons of nuance, with plenty of lemon confit, white flowers and chalk nuances. At this stage, the 2013 is naturally very tightly wound, but it has tremendous depth that is just waiting to emerge.
