The 2021 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru delivers aromas of pear, confit citrus, brioche, freshly baked bread and white flowers, followed by a full-bodied, satiny and concentrated palate that's taut and tangy, with terrific depth and cut, concluding with a long, lively finish.

The 2021 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has quite an intense nose, though it lacks real complexity even compared to some of the Premier Crus. The palate is sapid on the entry though feels a little drier than expected with touches of grapefruit and orange peel towards the conservative finish. The previous vintage showed more breeding.
