2009 Les Haut Chardonnay

The 2009 Haut Chardonnay beautifully expresses the radiance of the vintage. Dried pear, brioche, apple tart and sweet spices, all shaped by warm, toasted notes from the fermentation in barrel, give the Haut Chardonnay much of its distinctive personality. Even though the oak is quite noticeable, it is also married nicely with the inherent richness of the year. Radiant and inviting, the 2009 is an excellent choice for drinking over the next handful of years, perhaps more. Disgorged: December 2014.
