A lovely nose of flint, lemon curd, wet stone and whole nutmeg. Medium- to full-bodied with a supple texture and delicious, subtle complexity. Nuanced, with charming nutty notes adding to the bright citrus and stone fruit. Mineral as well. A delight. Drink or hold.

The 2021 Chardonnay is aged for 10 months in French oak barrel with no malo or lees-stirring, 20% new wood. It has a well-defined bouquet with yellow plum and orange pith scents, the oak nicely understated. The palate is well balanced with a crisp entry, lightly oaked and a slightly nutty almost Meursault-like personality with decent length on the finish. Well-worth seeking out.
