Tasting notes
Complex aromas of honeysuckle and lilac to the sliced lemon and green apple. It’s medium-bodied and fresh with layers of fruit and light phenolic tension in the finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

The 2018 Pouilly-Vinzelles Les Quarts is promising, exhibiting aromas of orange oil, crisp green apple, white peach and blanched almonds. Medium to full-bodied, bright and incisive, it's elegantly textural with lively acids, a pretty core of fruit and a sapid finish.
Like the regular Pouilly-Vinzelles except the vines are 40–80 years old and the wine was taken out of barrel last August and then settled in tank. Just about to be bottled. Very chewy. Very rich, very tense and very young. Reminds me a little of Thévenet’s botrytised Mâconnais Chardonnay but there was no botrytis element here. 17+ 24-36 (JR)
