Tank sample. Sweet, pure fruit on the nose. Relatively loose in terms of (chalky) tannins but more ambitious than the Bourgogne. (JR)

The 2020 Côte de Nuits-Villages comes from Comblanchien, 60-70% whole bunch with 15% new oak. This has quite a lifted, perfumed and floral bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, quite strict with a grippy finish. It needs a little more delineation and elegance.
