Tasting notes
The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Cras has also turned out nicely, offering up aromas of plums, cassis, rich spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, it concludes with a bright, mineral finish.

The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Cras 1er Cru is the only Premier from this appellations since the contract for their La Dominode came to an end with the 2018 vintage. It has a rather savory nose with touches of cocoa lacing the dark berry fruit, slightly obscuring the terroir expression. The palate is medium-bodied with supple and forward black cherry and cassis fruit, quite Vosne-like in style with a silky finish. There might be some baby fat to address in this wine’s youth, so afford it 2-3 years in bottle because it has the matière to age for 8-12 years.
