2017 Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot

Pale, bright yellow with a green tinge. Ripe white peach and menthol on the nose, along with a faint buttery quality. Rich, fine-grained and sweet, conveying very good intensity and lift to its flavors of stone fruits, menthol and white flowers. The best of these 2017s to this point in terms of breadth and palate presence, not to mention structure, length and finishing lift. This wine impresses as much for its balance and freshness as for its considerable gras . (13.5% natural alcohol)
