Offering up aromas of sweet cherries, red berries, spices, rose petals and toasty oak, Rouget's 2019 Savigny-lès-Beaune Village is medium to full-bodied, layered and velvety, with powdery tannins and a mouthwatering core of fruit. Better integrated than the domaine's Chorey-lès-Beaune at this early stage, it's promising.
