Rahoul's 2018 Blanc offers up notes of green mango, lime leaves and lemon tart, plus hints of wild sage, wet pebbles and white pepper. The elegant, refreshing, medium-bodied palate has delicate citrus flavors and a crisp backbone, finishing steely.

The 2018 Rahoul Blanc has a crisp gooseberry, green apple and nettle-scented nose that conveys good intensity. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry. Maybe it just misses a little nerve, but I find the pear and apricot notes attractive, and there is fine delineation on the finish. Enjoy this well-crafted Graves Blanc over the next 8–10 years.

Coming from the Graves region south of the city of Bordeaux, the 2018 Château Rahoul Blanc reveals a light gold hue as well as beautiful, vibrant notes of lemon curd, honeyed grapefruit, and crushed rock-like minerality. It's medium-bodied, with bright yet integrated acidity, notable balance, and a great finish. A hidden gem of a white, it has real character and should keep for 2-4 years.

The 2018 Rahoul Blanc comes across as a bit one-dimensional. There is good up-front depth to the apricot, lemon confit and floral flavors, but that intensity drops off pretty quickly and the wine never seems to go anywhere. Drink it over the next year or two.
