Score 84/100 · Drink 2017-2022, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Mar 2017

The 2014 Baret has a rather simple redcurrant and cranberry bouquet, although the oak feels as if it is singing from a different hymn sheet. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin, rather rustic red berry fruit and an abrupt finish. This is a bit underwhelming if truth be told.
