Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2023-2030, Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com, Nov 2019

Barrel sample. Mid cherry red. Scented with cherry and raspberry fruit and the oak covered by the fruit – hard to believe there is 50% new oak in the premiers crus. Another wine with super-fine tannins, elegantly structured if not yet as open on the palate as it is on the nose. Savoury, firm finish. Needs time. (JH)
