The 2019 Ladoix Blanc exhibits notes of citrus zest, warm bread, white flowers and crushed rocks. Medium to full-bodied, chiseled and incisive, it's concentrated and mineral, with a long, chalky finish. This was picked with 14.2% potential alcohol and a pH of 3.0—an extreme example of 2019's combination of elevated maturity with low pH.

The 2019 Ladoix Blanc comes from young vines regrafted onto Pinot Noir in 2013. It has a pleasant bouquet of lime flower and peach aromas, a touch of French patisserie in the background. The palate is well balanced, nothing extraordinarily complex with attractive pear, green apple and orange pith notes, moderate in terms of length. No frills here, but recommended for the price.
