Tasting notes
(raised in stainless steel tanks, with the Roussanne component fermented in new barriques ) Bright straw-yellow. Pungent, mineral-accented aromas of poached pear, honeydew and tarragon. Brighter citrus fruits come up with air, adding vivacity to supple, nicely concentrated orchard fruit and melon flavors. Closes smooth and long, displaying very good clarity, a hint of vanilla and appealing juiciness.

Perrin’s 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is a medium-bodied, richer white that has lots of texture, medium-bodied richness and the classic bouquet of a richer styled Southern Rhone white with notes of buttered apples, spice, toasted bread and just a hint of citrus. Drink it over the coming couple of years.
