Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2024-2038, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2021 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a light bouquet with red berry fruit, bergamot, a touch of tea leaves - well-defined if just missing the intensity of the Malconsorts at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with sour cherry and wild strawberry fruit. More structure than the aromatics imply, this Echézeaux exerts a gentle grip, touches of cracked black pepper and thyme towards the easygoing finish. Fine.
