Tasting notes
The 2021 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros is one of the richer, more gourmand wines in the range, revealing aromas of peach, orange, white flowers and freshly baked bread. Full-bodied, fleshy and ample, it's a broad, mouth-filling Chablis with bright acids and a precise, saline finish. This has turned out especially well.

Cask sample. Lots of lovely, fine fruit and a strong wet-stones character. Already relatively accessible but all that acidity (and fruit) should keep it going a nice long time. (JR)
This is also aromatically reserved though determined swirling slowly reveals smoky aromas of green fruit, citrus and mineral reduction. The dense and very powerful big-bodied flavors flash plenty of muscle on the palate drenching and hugely long finish. This isn’t refined, in fact it’s rustic but it is undoubtedly impressive in its fashion. (91-94)/2031+
