Score 16/20 · Drink 2019-2021, Richard Hemming MW, jancisrobinson.com, Oct 2019

35% Roussanne, 30% Grenache Blanc, 20% Clairette, 15% Bourboulenc. Aged in old oak. Tasted blind. Strong musky aroma which is much more like Muscat than normal Rhône grapes. Enjoyably fruity, although it really does have more of an Alsatian feel than Rhône. On quality, it scores highly but on typicality, not so much. (RH)
