It's closed and tight, with crisp red and black fruits, medium body, an elegant, silky, seamless mouthfeel, and complex notes of underbrush, leather, and sappy herbs. This pretty, earthy, elegant, and singular Châteauneuf du Pape will evolve for 7-8 years, if not a decade.
