Cask sample. Big and beefy. Not much subtlety! But not too sweet. May well come right with time in bottle. (JR)

The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chenevottes 1er Cru offers crushed stone and touches of lemongrass on the nose. Good intensity. The palate is well balanced with a slight reduction, quite peachy in style with a waxy-texture, though it just needs a little more tension and brightness on the finish.
