Tasting notes
The 1963 Rivesaltes was also taken from demi-muid. It has a slightly more conservative bouquet with scents of marmalade, damson, fig and Moroccan spice, all nicely defined yet somehow holding something back. The palate is very well-balanced with a viscous entry, fine acidity and a dash of white pepper sprinkled over the marmalade and quince finish. This is very promising. Drink now-2025+

Very dark mahogany cask sample. Light, buttery nose. Pungent and lifted. Manages to be very concentrated and lifted at the same time. Complex. Hedonistic. Amazing butteriness. Clean and fresh on the finish. (JR)
