The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Monts Luisants Blanc is excellent, delivering scents of pear, freshly baked bread and citrus oil, followed by a medium-bodied, taut and chalky palate built around a bright spine of acidity.
The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis Monts Luisants Blanc 1er Cru was picked around midway through the harvest. It has a tightly-coiled bouquet that takes time to open, touches dew-speckled Granny Smiths and pressed white flowers. The palate is fresh and vibrant with fine acidity, very impressive weight with a tangy, tangerine-tinged finish. This might well be my pick from Dujac’s whites this year. Excellent.
About the producer

Domaine Dujac is one of Burgundy’s most famous wine estates. It crafts red Burgundies with a distinct style, from a fantastic array of vineyard plots, including seven Grands Crus.
