Score 96/100 · Drink 2028-2060, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Dec 2022
The 2021 Dürnsteiner Riesling Ried Kellerberg opens with a deep, intense and coolish nose with notes of wet black rocks, Timut pepper berries, black tea leaves and herbs intertwining with concentrated and ripe white-stone and passion fruit aromas. On the palate, this is a rich and concentrated, tightly woven and dense, round and elegant Kellerberg that stopped fermenting at the end of January with seven grams per liter of residual sugar. Still a tiny bit too much for me, but in the long term, this is a terrific Kellerberg. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in September 2022.
