The 2014 Côte de Nuits Villages has a simple, light, slightly fatigued bouquet. The palate is well balanced with light tannin, fleshy simple red fruit with a slightly tarry finish. Drink now. Tasted at Flint Wines' Value Burgundy tasting.

Almost a hint of orange in the pale-to-mid ruby colour! The nose is also evolved and the tannins extremely smooth already. For the impatient, this could be GV even if it lacks absolute intensity. (JR)
