Score 95/100 · Drink 2025-2042, Jeb Dunnuck, Nov 2022

The 2014 Champagne Cramant Grand Cru is the first vintage of the cuvee and is 100% Chardonnay. The nose is tense and tightly wound with green apple, lemon verbena, and pure chalk. The palate opens up with elegant mousse, and delicate but persistent mineral texture, and delicately smoky finish. It needs time in cellar to open up and drink 2025-2042.
