Score 92/100 · Drink 2023-2040, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020
The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot is quite tightly wound, opening in the glass with a pretty bouquet of crisp green pear, white flowers, orange oil and subtle hints of pastry cream. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, elegant and fine-boned, with excellent tension, racy acids and a penetrating, mineral finish. This is a precise, refined Morgeot that will really unwind with a little time in the cellar.

Very restrained and gently flinty with a wealth of pithy-grapefruit and mineral notes. This has very attractive and mouthwatering young peaches and lemons with grilled hazelnuts to close. Concentrated and energetic. Drink or hold.
