Tasting notes
The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Village was a little reductive when I tasted it, though it was due for bottling three weeks after my visit. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, quite strict for a 2020 Village Cru, and I just need to see some more complexity develop on the finish here.

Mid pink-purple in colour, notably reduced nose. Too much to blow off. Very pretty elegant pure red fruit on the palate, with good concentration, plenty of oak and the slight firmness from the reduction. That apart, this is excellent, and very long. Scored on the basis that the reduction will depart.
