Tasting notes
This is layered with blue and purple fruit and spice exotic, scented and sensual. It has amazing concentration and length, with a pure, long palate that is edge by mineral freshness. Theres layer upon layer of fulsome fruit here. Next-level wine.

The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaumonts 1er Cru has a slight reduction on the nose. Red plum, raspberry, and bergamot scents mingle with sous-bois and Indian ink. It is understated at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine acidity, tautness and freshness. This is one of the more mineral-driven Premier Crus from the appellation. Fine tension, this contains plenty of nascent energy, with a dash of cracked black pepper livening things up. Excellent. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
Aromas of dark berries, cherries, red fruits, sweet spices and rose petals preface the 2020 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaumonts, a medium to full-bodied, layered and multidimensional wine that's deep and concentrated, with bright acids and a long, saline finish.
