Tasting notes
The 2020 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru has a well-defined bouquet with tightly wound green apple and wet limestone aromas. The palate is well balanced with fine depth on the entry, although I find that the Bienvenue has a little more finesse and tension on the finish. Maybe this is one cuvée where I was expecting more.

Fine bright mid yellow. This is very stylish and very Chevalier, one of the riper examples of the vintage, I think. There is unexpected weight on the palate, some greengage, interesting complexity, a lightly saline note, and very persistent. Showing very well for Vougeraie Chevalier.
