Score 90/100 · Drink 2017-2024, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Aug 2016

The 2014 Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Ligneau comes from 40-year-old vines and sees 18 months in stainless steel. It has attractive apple blossom and limestone scents on the nose, pretty and quite refined. The palate is saline on the entry with a fine bead of acidity, good weight in the mouth, with bruised apple and fresh pear on the quite tensile finish. This is a fine Chablis from Louis Moreau that will give several years' drinking pleasure.
