Score 92/100 · Drink 2018-2030, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Aug 2018

Disgorged in January 2017 the white-golden colored 2009 Ambonnay Grand Cru Pinot Noir Les Fournettes offers a deep, fruity, very elegant and aromatic bouquet of perfectly ripe cherries. Pure and very delicate on the palate, this is a remarkably precise and perfectly fruity Pinot Noir that was dosed with just two grams per liter, which is just perfect. The finish is pure and well structured, with stimulating salinity and very fine tension. Highly stimulating. This is sourced from vines planted in 1992 on a topsoil of 65 centimeters and which have a south-facing exposition.
