Tasting notes
Clase Azul Reposado is made from organic, non-genetically modified Blue Weber agave from one of the highest points in the Jalisco highlands, around the town of Jésus María. The altitude here gives their tequilas a distinctive sweeter, fruity, floral profile. After nine years in the earth, the agave is harvested and slow cooked in traditional stone ovens for 72 hours before being left to mature in ex-Bourbon casks for eight months, adding honeyed vanilla notes to the earthy agave base. Each one comes in a hand-made and painted decanter, which take two weeks for local artisans to produce.
About the producer

Clase Azul is an exciting tequila producer based in Jesús María. The company was founded by Guadalajara-native Arturo Lomeli, who launched his Reposado in 2000. Today the brand produces four tequilas and a mezcal, all from organic, non-genetically modified agave.
