Pouring a bright pale silver/straw color, the NV Champagne Cuvée L'Orme Extra Brut is composed of Pinot Noir from the 2019 vintage, aged for 10 months in 228-liter barrels before bottling. It’s a very pretty wine with a subtle fine mousse and a silky chalky texture. Medium-bodied, it’s appealing with red berry fruit and a clean linear feel without being austere. It has nice clarity and a delicate toast as well as notes of fresh almonds and ripe, cherry red fruit coming through on the mid-palate, with nice clarity and a saline finish. Drink 2025-2035.
