Tasting notes
Made from 61% Sauvignon Blanc and 39% Sémillon, the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc Professor Black has a nose of smeared citrus fruit with a soft acetic tone. Medium-bodied, the palate shows more expressions of Sémillon with ripe peach flavors and yellow melon on the mid-palate. The wine ends with good texture and weight along with some oak notes on the lingering finish. The aromas on the nose just seem to stand apart with a wonky tone at present. Drink over the next year or two.
