Tasting notes
Aromas of creamy berry fruit, cherries, plums and spices introduce the 2019 La Sirène de Giscours, a medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy wine with fine depth at the core, lively acids and a long, penetrating finish. It's 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, and that shows in the best way.

The 2019 La Sirène de Giscours has a lot of graphite/pencil shaving aromas on the nose that threaten to overwhelm the fruit. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins, and a little austere on the entry before broadening out on the midpalate. The graphite then continues all the way through to the end. Classically styled, this should drink well for a decade.
The 2019 La Sirène de Giscours has turned out beautifully. Soft, succulent and inviting, the 2019 is charming right out of the gate. Sweet red cherry, lavender, rose petal, spice and blood orange flesh out in a racy, sumptuous second wine that is incredibly alluring. In 2019 La Sirène is an absolute delight.
