Tasting notes
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard is a wild, exotic wine. Crushed ripe raspberry, blood orange, spice, mint, cinnamon, sweet French oak and star anise give the 2018 striking inner perfume and flavor profile that is highly unusual. I have never tasted anything like it. The Three Twins is sourced from one of the very finest vineyards sites in all of Napa Valley. (AG)

Deep purple-black colored, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard waltzes out of the glass with baked blackcurrants, stewed plums and fruitcake scents with hints of espresso, tar and fertile loam. Medium to full-bodied, the taut, tightly wound, black-fruited palate has a firm frame of grainy tannins and lovely freshness providing lift on the long, earthy finish. (LPB)
Coming from a rocky vineyard sitting at 900 feet in elevation, across from Pritchard Hill, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard is another medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured 2017. Offering lots of blue fruits (cassis, blueberries) as well as graphite, charcoal, and Asian spices, it has ripe tannins, a voluptuous mouthfeel, and a big finish.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard is bright, punchy and full of the red/purplish berry fruit that is such a signature of this Conn Valley vineyard. Floral and energetic, the Three Twins is just a flat-out gorgeous Cabernet in 2017. I won't be surprised if it is even better than this note suggests with more time in bottle. (AG)
