Aromas of rose petals, plums, Egyptian must, candied peel and raw cocoa introduce the 1949 Beaune 1er Cru Les Grèves Vigne de l'Enfant Jesus, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming wine that's velvety and enveloping, with an ample core of fruit, melting tannins and pristine balance. It's a beautifully generous Beaune that's in its prime today.
