Score 88/100 · Drink 2019-2025, Neal Martin, Aug 2018
The 2015 Seriously Old Dirt, the second label of Vilafonté, has a soft, plum-scented bouquet with touches of blue fruit emanating from the 43% Malbec. The palate is well balanced, featuring light tannin, almost "airy" blackberry and blueberry fruit and a light brushing of dark chocolate toward the finish. Drink over the next six or seven years.
