2015 Cotes du Jura Les Vignes de Mon Pere

Jean-François Ganevat seemed to enjoy tasting many vintages of Les Vignes de Mon Père from barrel, and he kept disappearing with a pipette in his hand, returning with yet another vintage, this time the potential 2015 Les Vignes de Mon Père, from a difficult vintage that took three years to finish fermenting. But after close to eight years in barrel, the wine has achieved a very good balance from slowly aging, showing less notes of caramel than the 2016 and with power and acidity.
