Cru bourgeois. 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. No mention of oak. Slightly dull garnet. Very light nose. Soft and soapy. Easy but not compelling. Drying tannins on the end. Just a bit ordinary. (JR)

The 2018 Tour St. Bonnet comes across as smudged and rather stewed on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with dry tannins and black fruit. Very short and mean on the finish.

Olives, tobacco leaf, currants and blackberry are on the nose and palate of this medium-bodied, soft, round, forward, fruity wine. This is a sold bargain priced Left Bank wine that can be enjoyed on release.

Cru bourgeois.  60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot. Light and very simple with a slightly green edge. Drying finish. Could do with more fruit. (JL)
