Tasting notes
New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc lovers, you will like this wine. The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc has a classic New Zealand freshness about it that is lively and energetic. With fresh citrus, grapefruit and green bell pepper tones, the terroir adds a wet rock minerality. The palate is clean and citrus dominant and goes on to a good clean, crisp finish. No oak here, the wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel that filled 58,000 bottles.

The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc, which is raised in stainless steel, has a tightly wound bouquet of light Granny Smith apple and grass clipping/dewy lawn aromas. The palate is sharp and quite penetrating on the entry thanks to the citric acidity; again, there are touches of Granny Smith apples here, mixed with gooseberry, and a light spiciness emerges toward the finish. Very fine.
