The 2017 Chablis Les Forêts 1er Cru has a clean and precise bouquet, lovely granite and limestone scents emerging, plus a touch of blackcurrant leaf. The palate is very well balanced with a spicy, ginger and rhubarb tinged opening, great tension and a long and persistent finish. Excellent.

The 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Les Forêts is also very promising, offering up notes of crisp peach, iodine, green apple and beeswax. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with a lovely sense of completeness and harmony, concluding with a saline finish.
