Score 93/100 · Drink 2018-2026, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

Sourced from a 50-year-old vineyard that was planted by Jean-François Ganevat's father, the 2016 Pinot Noir Cuvée Julien is an elegant version of the grape, from an old clone that produces very aromatic and pale wines. There are notes of violets, lilies and blood oranges. Some call this la Romanée-Conti from the Jura!
