Score 91/100 · Drink 2018-2020, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

The 2015 Côtes du Jura Pinot Noir En Billat is a very pale and subtle Pinot Noir with notes of bright raspberries and grenadine from a vineyard planted at 430 meters altitude, with schist soils, a terroir that is usually destined for whites but that is planted with Pinot Noir. It has the organic twist I find on many of the reds here. The palate is weightless and ethereal, with virtually no tannins and so easy to drink that it could be dangerous. It has the balance of a white wine.
