Score 89/100 · Drink 2022-2032, Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, Aug 2022

This 2017 Clos du Moulin is a soft, easy to be seduced by wine that was formerly part of the blend of Quintessence Clos du Moulin but from 2017, is its own cuvée. It remains light in body, precise and textured with delightful tannins that coat the palate with tea leaf character, violet and festive spices. Having finished its fermentation in barrel, it spends 12 months in 80% new barrel which it has managed well. Long length with fine precision.
