Score 92/100 · Drink 2018-2026, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Aug 2018

A new cuvée for the Domaine La Soufrandère, the 2016 Saint-Véran La Bonnode hails from a two-hectare east-facing parcel that overlooks the rock of Vergisson. The Brets lost some 20% to hail damage this year, but the wine has turned out well, offering up lovely notes of fresh peach, white flowers and wheat toast. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with an elegantly glossy attack, tangy acids and a precise, lifted finish.
