The domaine reds from 2016 were already bottled, while the 2015 whites were still unbottled, so I got to taste the 2016 Cuvée de l'Enfant Terrible produced with Poulsard grapes, a light, pale and a little organic and wild red. This comes from the Chalasses terroir, the first vineyard planted by Jean-François Ganevat's father. It's spicy, floral and pure. I'm not sure if the quality of Ganevat reds had improved or if I have learned to like them more, but I found this simply irresistible! It's possible that this will be better with years in bottle, but it's hard not to pull the cork right now.
