Tasting notes
Clean, clear and lemon flecked in the glass. On the nose, delicate lemon rind and citrus fruit aromas that lead to a saline, marine quality. Beautifully judged on the palate, powerful fruit and gorgeous extract balanced by cool, crisp and sophisticated minerality. Unfurls on the finish as the marine notes give way to classically delivered hints of butter and toast. Incredible wine. Oct 2017, FINE+RARE, Drink: 2017-2025

2,500 bottles made. Very rich and spicy – quite California! Though, miraculously, it's not too fat. Superior and chock-full of fruit. (JR)
Scents of cinnamon streusel, toasted hazelnuts and woodsmoke emerge on the nose of Cloudburst's 2015 Chardonnay. But this is beautifully balanced on the palate. It's plump and medium-bodied, with an appealingly rich, creamy texture and plenty of refreshing, mouthwatering length, backed by hints of pear, melon, white peach and pineapple.
