Tasting notes
Palish ruby. A little stalky and reductive on the nose. Lively, vivid fruit with an elegant lightweight feel to it, and fine and succulent light fruit on the finish framed by powdery tannins. Sleek and elegant. (WS)

An absolutely stunning wine, the 2013 Rosso di Montalcino lifts from the glass with captivating aromatics. All of those nuances follow through on the palate, where the wine is fabulously nuanced and polished, with silky tannins and exceptional balance. The 2013 Rosso captures the personality of this great Montalcino vintage and is a wine that literally lifts the spirit. I can't wait to taste it from bottle. This is a super-classic Rosso from Poggio di Sotto.
