Tasting notes
Apple and snap pea on the nose anticipate the stimulating sense of crunch delivered on a generously juicy, glossy, buoyant palate. There is a greenhouse-like aura of foliage, persisting inner-mouth. Even more so than its vintage 2015 predecessor, this delivers prominent wet stone, chalk, salt and white pepper on an animating, invigorating and consummately refreshing finish.

The 2016 Ried Klostersatz Grüner Veltliner Federspiel has a clear, fresh and well defined-bouquet of white and yellow fruits, legumes and crushed stones. Intense and fruity on the palate, this is a lovely, stimulating and accessible Grüner Veltliner that is perfectly round but dry and fresh. A great wine for lunch and lighter dinners.
